Raffi, is a 6 year old Portuguese Water Dog mix, adopted about a month ago from a local Atlanta rescue organization. He exhibited behavior (growling, barking, lunging to bite) and his training program was adjusted to include muzzle training prior to obedience work.
In this video, Raffi's behavior is seen pre-obedience training as well as segments after starting training (i.e. Commands--Let's Go, Recall and introducing the place board as an object). We did some bonding exercises to help Raffi adjust away from home and prepare him for the journey of learning all of his commands (i.e. come, sit, heel, follow me, wait, place (boundary training). I'm using verbal marker training, verbal praise, petting, as well as e-collar conditioning / training in this video.
