A legal battle is brewing over a state question that passed overwhelmingly in Tuesday's election. The Council on American-Islamic Relations says a private citizen is now moving forward with a lawsuit to challenge State Question 755. SQ 755 prohibits Oklahoma courts from using international or Islamic law when deciding cases. The amendment to the state constitution passed with over 70 percent of the vote. "It specifically targets the Muslim community. It specifically targets the faith of Islam in a way that it doesn't target any other faith," said Muneer Awad, the CAIR Executive Director.
