Day 5: Two-Week Board and Train Program
Lilly, six-month-old Havanese puppy, visited a local park for distraction training and a little ball playing.
Sit Up N Listen is sensitive to balancing the exploration, socialization, and manners training components for all puppies. We believe in helping puppies grow to their fullest potential at all levels including physically and emotionally. Happy and healthy puppies is what makes us smile :-)
In this video, Lilly is at a local park practicing her "sit" and "wait" skills to load in and out of the car. Little dogs and puppies learned to sit and wait before being picked-up to be placed safely in the car. And, Lilly learned how to wait before coming out of the car and to sit and wait when placed upon the ground. This allows pet owners to focus on closing and locking car doors knowing puppy is safely sitting and waiting.
Lilly continued with the "3 D's" of dog training--Distance, Duration and Distractions.
Each day of Sit Up N Listen Board and Train program I'm extending these "D's". The goal is for Lilly to complete all of her commands solely working on her remote training collar allowing her to be off leash.
